Delray Beach Movers Who Know Atlantic Avenue and the Beachside Condos

Delray Beach sits just north of us, a short run up Federal Highway (US-1) or Dixie Hwy from our Mizner Park office. We are at the address daily, so a Delray job is barely a detour for Anthony’s crew. The walkable stretch of Atlantic Avenue, the galleries near Pineapple Grove, and the older bungalows of the Del-Ida Park district all bring their own quirks, and we plan each move around them rather than treating Delray like one flat grid.

From Lake Ida Bungalows to the Beachside Towers

West of Swinton Avenue you get the deep lots and mature ficus of Lake Ida, where a truck can usually park curbside and the load moves quickly. Cross over toward A1A and the picture flips: oceanfront buildings along Ocean Boulevard run on freight-elevator reservations, a Certificate of Insurance naming the association, and posted move-in hours. We pull those COIs before the date and confirm the elevator window with the front desk, so the truck is not idling on a no-parking stretch of Ocean Blvd while paperwork gets sorted.

Downtown Delray is tight. The 33444 blocks around Atlantic and the side streets off Swinton have limited loading room, and the seasonal crowd from October through April makes parking worse. We scout the approach, bring a shuttle plan for the towers where a 26-footer cannot reach the dock, and start early to beat both the heat and the lunchtime traffic on Atlantic.

Pricing That Holds for a Delray Move

Local Delray jobs run on our standard rate: $165/hr for a two-mover crew and truck with blankets, dollies, and tools included, or $225/hr when we send three movers for a larger home. A $150 deposit locks your date and comes off the final total. Because Delray is so close, drive time stays short and the clock works in your favor.

  • COIs filed in advance for any Ocean Boulevard or Atlantic-corridor building
  • Early loads to dodge the afternoon storms and August humidity
  • Shuttle handling for towers a full-size truck cannot back into

“Anthony's crew handled our move out of Old Floresta and you could tell they actually cared about doing it right. Showed up early before the sun got brutal, worked steady, and the final number matched the written estimate. Would recommend to anyone in the area.”

“Just needed two guys to load a rented truck for a DIY move from Highland Beach. Labor only, $165 an hour, no equipment minimum to fuss with. They packed that truck tighter than I ever could and nothing shifted on the drive. Money well spent.”

“Long-distance run from Coral Springs over to Naples on I-75, the Alligator Alley stretch. I got a binding quote up front so the price was locked, and that's exactly what I paid. Four stars only because we hit a wreck on the highway and the truck got held up about an hour, but the lead called me before I even noticed they were late and gave me a real arrival time. No excuses, just a heads-up. Everything else was spot on, careful loading and the same crew on both ends.”

FAQ

Can you handle a move into one of the oceanfront buildings on Ocean Boulevard?
Yes. Those associations want a COI naming them and a booked freight-elevator slot, and we set both up before your date. If our truck cannot reach the building's dock, we plan a shuttle so nothing stalls on A1A.
Parking near Atlantic Avenue looks impossible. How does that work on move day?
We scout your block ahead of time and figure out the legal staging spot. On the busiest downtown streets we may stage the truck nearby and shuttle in, and we start early so we are loaded before the avenue fills up with the season crowd.
How far is your office from Delray, and does that affect the bill?
Our Mizner Park office is a few minutes south on US-1, so drive time is minimal. With local jobs billed hourly, that short distance keeps your total down compared with crews coming from Fort Lauderdale or further off.
